Ishvara Reiki – Mind & Body Centering for Physical & Emotional Well-Being
This workshop introduces the practice of Reiki through gentle asana, breathwork, and somatic techniques. We will explore how to recognize and release stress in the body and you will leave the mat with simple techniques and awareness to take into your daily life. Our practice will include:
o Movement, meditation, and breath work
o Gentle asana
o Gasho Reiki meditation
o Calming breath
o Somatic awareness
Explore how stress and trauma reside in the body, and
understand the parasympathetic state of mind where stress is released. Build resilience for stress prevention and recovery
Introduction to Reiki
o Learn how Reiki is a holistic and embodied practice
o Experience Reiki specifically to release stress-related issues in your body
o Receive Reiki during a Restorative yoga session
*You do not need previous yoga experience to attend this workshop. Please bring a journal and wear comfortable clothes – natural fibers are best.
About Deborah: Deborah Dixon is a Reiki Master Teacher practicing since 2007, and a certified MindBody Therapy practitioner and 500 RYT yoga instructor with certifications that include Restorative, Yin, Yoga for PTSD, and Aromatherapy. She is the owner of Subtle Wellness Reiki.
