| Sunday, June 28th 2:30-4:30 pm Cost: $40 with Anne Bequet This longer class open to all levels and lead in a dimmed atmosphere will mindfully allow students to move the spine in all directions. It will integrate gentle movement, offer guided visualization and breathing techniques. The full support of the body and the long holds in each posture will offer time and space for individuals to be present and start listening inward. The gentle floor based sequence will use props (blankets, bolsters and blocks) to encourage the body relaxation response and cultivate presence. Bringing personal items such as a journal, an eye pillow and a soft blanket for this self-care would be an awesome addition. The practice will allow time for reflection (journaling), questions and conversation. Students will receive a list of poses to begin their own practice at home. |
