Yoga-Mojo Stretch & Stress Release is an active stretching practice focusing on primary muscle groups targeting the hips, hamstrings, core & back muscles, neck, wrists & shoulders.
This practice works to release the stress and tension that tends to build up over the week. We take time in each pose and move at a slower pace to help release tension and tightness in the muscles and open the joints. We look to transition from pose-to-pose with the breath to help slow down active minds.
Following the Yoga-Mojo Method, practices begin in a seated pose (or supine) with breath work, followed by movement designed to slowly awaken the body and prepare the body/mind for poses we can hold for several breaths / minutes.
We settle in for a wonderful deep rest and relaxation in Savasana — connecting with the body’s natural healing process — inviting a sense of peace and calm within.
All levels welcome.
