The holidays of November and December often bring heightened activity and expectations, which can lead to stress and, even anxiety. As much as we wish to be fully present for
our family and friends, the reality for many of us is we can be overwhelmed by to-do lists, errand-running, social gatherings, and memories of loved ones no longer with us. Tension creeps in and we find
ourselves seeking solace in food and drink or in pulling the covers over our head!
While this two-hour workshop won’t magically make all the worries and upsets of the holidays disappear, it will provide effective mental strategies, soothing breathing techniques, and gentle physical practices to enable you to “let go of what doesn’t serve you” and restore you to the present moment and to what really
matters.
This workshop is for any and everyone with handouts, discussion and mindful movement. No prior experience with stress-reduction or yoga needed. Come as you are!
When: Sunday, November 19th 1-3p
