
Our Yoga Foundations series with Alyson is perfect for students who are new to yoga or those who wish to refine their practice. Each session will focus on a specific type of yoga postures, including effective ways to align, vary, and deepen each pose. We will begin by getting grounded in mind and body, finding stability and clarity. From here we learn to lengthen and extend physically from our core to safely increase our range of movement. Next we work in all planes, inviting into the spine to safely move to fullest potential. Our final session concludes with a fully integrated Vinyasa flow in which we sequence movements together and fully experience the joy of yoga with confidence and clarity.Each class includes time to discuss, inquire, and explore. Helpful handouts will support those who wish to practice at home.

April 4th – Week 1 – Grounding Seated Postures
April 18th – Week 2 – Rising – Standing Postures & Sun Salutations
May 2nd – Week 3 – Spiraling & Balancing – Seated & Standing Twists and Balancing Poses
May 9th – Week 4 – Integrating – Putting It All Together
Each class is 1:00 – 2:45pm (1 hr and 45 minutes long) and includes digital handouts to take home and keep practicing.
